Figure Drawing Techniques (Cast Study): Part 1

This 6 week beginner-friendly class introduces essential figure drawing techniques using plaster casts instead of live models.

Students will learn to understand proportion, anatomy, and form while developing strong observational skills.

Working from classical casts allows for a focused study of structure, light, and shadow at a comfortable pace, building a solid foundation for those new to figure drawing.

This course will also prepares students for Figure Drawing Techniques: Part 2, class tbd, where students will apply these skills to drawing from live models.
