Embark on your artistic journey with our 6-week Foundations of Drawing class, designed to equip beginners with essential techniques, tools, and concepts for successful sketching and drawing.

This course covers the fundamentals of drawing, including the use of various materials such as pencils, charcoal, and paper types, as well as techniques for shading, contouring, and line work. Students will explore principles of proportion, perspective, and composition while learning how to observe and translate the world around them onto paper.

With a focus on observational drawing and personal expression, the class also emphasizes developing good habits, such as setting up a workspace, practicing consistently, and refining your artistic eye. Through engaging demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and personalized feedback, participants will gain the confidence and foundational skills to bring their ideas to life.
