Discover the joy of painting in our 6-week beginner’s class, designed to introduce essential techniques, tools, and concepts to aspiring artists.

This comprehensive course explores key materials—including paints, brushes, and canvases—alongside foundational principles such as color theory and a range of techniques like blending, layering, and glazing. Students will delve into the use of light and shadow, creating dynamic compositions, and mastering techniques for depth and perspective.

Emphasizing observational painting and personal expression, the class also guides students through effective studio practices, from preparing canvases to completing a polished painting. Through expert demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and constructive critiques, participants will build confidence and the foundational skills needed to bring their artistic visions to life.
