Have you ever wanted to learn painting but didn’t know where to start? Our six-week Introduction to Painting course is designed for beginners and art enthusiasts eager to delve into traditional techniques in a relaxed, supportive environment.

What You’ll Learn:

• Painting Fundamentals: Get acquainted with essential tools and materials, understanding their uses and applications.

• Color Mixing: Learn to create harmonious color palettes, including techniques like the Zorn palette, which utilizes a limited range of colors to achieve a wide spectrum of tones.

• Classical Techniques: Develop foundational skills such as sight-size drawing and value studies to accurately represent your subjects.

• Still Life and Portraits: Apply your skills to create compelling still life compositions and portrait studies, drawing inspiration from classical art traditions.

By the end of the course, you’ll have a solid foundation in classical painting techniques and the confidence to continue your artistic journey.
