RAAC is excited to host Colorado-based artist Mitch Caster for an engaging figure drawing workshop in pastel and charcoal.
A lifelong fine artist and former national news and courtroom illustrator, Mitch has spent decades capturing the human form with dramatic light and shadow. His award-winning work has been exhibited internationally and featured in major art publications.
Known for his clear, encouraging teaching style, Mitch brings deep experience and insight to this focused, hands-on workshop!

Soft Vine or Willow Charcoal Sticks
Soft Pastels (not oil pastels) or Conte crayon
Kneaded rubber eraser
Newsprint or Bond
Pastel or Charcoal Paper (a few sheets of 19 x 25, white or off-white,
and a few sheets of gray or brown; recommended: Canson Mi-Tientes)
Fixative (not to be used in class)
Rag or towel
Small tray for pastels
