REAL Academy of Art Colorado is thrilled to announce an upcoming workshop with Renowned Artist – Robert Liberace.

Workshop overview –

Alla prima portrait painting is a direct, expressive approach to oil painting that captures likeness and character in a single sitting. This workshop focuses on strong drawing, clear values, and confident brushwork, helping students work efficiently while maintaining freshness and vitality in their portraits.

About the Artist –

Robert is a highly accomplished figurative artist, painter, and sculptor whose work is rooted in masterful draftsmanship, anatomy, and art history. Inspired early by Hogarth, he earned multiple prestigious art scholarships and completed both BFA and MFA degrees at George Washington University.

A recognized “Living Master” by the Art Renewal Center, Robert has won numerous international awards, including the ARC Grand Prize and the Portrait Society of America’s International Portrait Competition. His work has been widely published, commissioned by prominent institutions and figures, permanently installed in major national landmarks, and even placed on the moon through the Lunar Codex Program.

In addition to his prolific career as an artist, Rob is a respected educator known for his engaging teaching style, leading workshops, museum tours, and online courses throughout the U.S. and Europe, while continuing to contribute to the classical art tradition as both a practitioner and mentor.
