Support for a REAL Academy of Art Colorado (RAAC) education comes from three main sources: tuition, special workshops, and community contributions to the annual fund.
Your donation helps cover faculty and staff salaries, promote economic diversity, support academic programs, and maintain our facilities, directly impacting every artist at the Academy.
Since tuition covers only a portion of the cost of educating an RAAC student, we rely on annual donations to bridge the gap. Your gift supports everything from financial aid and faculty salaries to programs and safe facilities, ensuring that the Academy remains an ideal place for artists to learn and grow.

HOW IT HELPS
Independent schools often are asked why they need donations in addition to tuition. This question goes to the heart of our mission.
We were founded with the primary goal of providing world-class art education to anyone who wants to receive it, regardless of their financial status. In addition to keeping our overall tuition costs low, we also offer scholarships to 20% of our student body.
The Academy can provide its top-quality education and maintain its mission precisely because of your giving. These funds allow us to balance our budget each year while planning for students’ educational needs next year and next decade.

Your gift could be matched dollar for dollar. Many companies offer matching gift programs that will double, even triple a donation’s value. If you have questions about your company’s matching gift program, please contact your personnel office. Gifts in honor or memory of a friend or family member or in recognition of a significant event may be made to the REAL Academy of Art Colorado.
